Date Of Birth: 24th January 1979 Biography Tatyana Marisol Ali who grew up in Long Island, now lives in Los Angeles with her family. Her mother, Sonia was a nurse and her father, Sheriff, was a New York police detective. She has two sisters; Anastasia and Kimberly. Tatyana first started acting at the age of four and a half on the children's show 'Sesame Street'. Appearing twice on 'Star Search' at the age of seven, she won both times receiving a four-star rating on her second appearance. Whilst acting on 'The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air' as the age of eleven, Tatyana and family moved to be closer to the recording studios in Hollywood. She sang in many episodes and was approached by Will Smith to suggest a career in singing. During the last series of the show, Tatyana began training her vocal chords, recording demos, and performing. She eventually signed with MJJ Music. Her debut single, 'Daydreamin' was certified Gold after a few weeks of being released and climbed into the Billboard 100 Hot Singles, reaching a high of number sox for two weeks. Tatyana recorded an album, 'Kiss The Sky' which features Will Smith on the single, 'Boy You Knock Me Out'. She attended Harvard University, majoring in Afro-American studies and government. Tatyana had a very publicized relationship with Jonathon Brandis, known for his role in Seaquest. Tatyana enjoys gymnastics, singing, dancing and swimming. Her favourite singers are The Fugees, Tori Amos and The Cranberries. On turning 18, she got her nose pierced.
